In today’s vlog, things take an unexpected turn as I make a big mistake on a DIY project that’s incredibly special to me. This room holds a lot of memories—I was proposed to here, signed the papers for my house, and even worked on finishing my design schooling in the next room. Just as I was about to wrap up the built-in project, a big mistake set me back weeks. I’ll share what went wrong, why it happened, and some hard-earned lessons to help you avoid similar setbacks in your projects.
But before we dive into that, I’m returning some lamps that didn’t quite work out for this space, and I’ll give you some tips on selecting the right lighting for your home, including the importance of choosing the right Kelvin for your fixtures.
